First Congregational Parish, UCC Truro MA
On a peaceful hilltop, far away from the din of everyday life, you'll find a warm welcome and spiritual uplift.
Truro's historic First Parish offers summer worship services in the New England Congregational tradition. Just three tenths of a mile off of Route 6, from Town Hall Road, you'll see our sign and the rear quarter of our venerable building. First Parish Lane leads in to our historic church. Here, you'll feel right at home, yet a world apart. Summer services welcome visitors from all over.
God is still speaking - and you don't want to miss a word, even if you are on vacation. That's why we're here. Our summer services begin June 16, 2013 and are held at 10:00AM every Sunday through September 8th. Please check out our Calendar ; we hope to see you this summer!
Tour the Church
We are open for tours in the summer on Wednesdays from 2-4PM and Saturdays from 10-Noon. Bring your camera. Our meetinghouse is a unique Cape Cod landmark and a favorite subject for both artists and photographers. In its spire is a Paul Revere bell which has welcomed the faithful for hundreds of years. It is a remarkable edifice and the oldest church on the Outer Cape.
Open and Affirming
We are an "Open and Affirming Church". The First Parish of Truro is available for weddings of all types. Please feel free to enquire regarding available times and arrangements.
